Chilled Spicy Black Sesame Noodles
This is one of my favorite dishes to make at home, super fast and super tasty! It is also versatile, so you can omit the spice if desired.
Ingredients
-
⅔ cup Wadaman Organic Black Sesame Paste
-
½ cup Suehiro Ponzu Sauce
- 2½ teaspoons rayu
- 4 packs fresh ramen noodles
- 4 scallions, sliced super thin (garnish)
- Freshly ground black pepper (garnish)
-
Wadaman Roasted Salty Black Sesame Seeds, lightly crushed (garnish)
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix the sesame paste, ponzu and rayu. Add more rayu if you like it spicier. Cook the ramen noodles using the manufacture’s directions, chill briefly under cold water, and then dunk into ice water for 30 seconds. Drain thoroughly.
Toss the noodles in the sesame mixture until they are well-coated, then divide them onto four plates. Garnish with the scallions, black pepper and lightly crushed salty sesame seeds.
