Return Policy

Food Products, Ingredients & Sale Items

Due to the nature of these products, all sales of food products, ingredients, and sale items are final.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or otherwise compromised, please email us as soon as possible at shipping@thejapanesepantry.com with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll work with you to make it right.

Non-Food Items

Unused non-food items, including pottery, kitchenware, and books, may be returned for a full refund within 15 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging, and accompanied by your order information. Please contact us before returning an item.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or was sent in error. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund.
