Matsuda-san worked with the aluminum artisans at Westside 33 in Kyoto to develop this kitchen tool. The result? A unique aluminum spoon, hammered by hand in the back of Westside 33's gorgeous store. Use this spoon to remove seeds from cucumbers, eat grapefruit or whatever else strikes your fancy.

- Dry before storing.
- Avoid using stainless steel scrubbers, as this can damage the product.

- Please avoid using acidic or alkaline substances such as vinegar and baking soda as much as possible.

The Jizai Dougu collection of products was started in 2004 by Michiko Matsuda, a renowned cooking teacher and author of over 50 of cookbooks in Japan.
