From Kido-san’s Pebble Collaboration with Ishihara-san of Pebble Ceramic Design Studio, this piece is crafted using volcanic ash from Sakurajima, an active volcano in the middle of Kagoshima Bay. The ash gives the mottled surface a subtle, mesmerizing iridescence.
Measuring 6.7 inches square, this versatile plate is perfect for small servings — think Japanese Potato Salad, Greg’s Spicy Japanese Cucumber Salad, or anything that deserves a beautiful presentation.
