From Kido-san’s Pebble collaboration with Ishihara-san of Pebble Ceramic Design Studio, this piece is crafted using volcanic ash from Sakurajima—an active volcano in Kagoshima Bay. The ash gives the mottled surface a subtle, iridescent sheen.
Versatile and beautifully shaped, this bowl is ideal for serving nuts or small side dishes. We love it for Japanese Cucumber with Ume Miso, Greg’s Cucumber Karashi Pickle, and so much more.
