From Kido-san’s Pebble collaboration with Ishihara-san of Pebble Ceramic Design Studio, this piece is crafted using volcanic ash from Sakurajima—an active volcano in the middle of Kagoshima Bay. The ash gives the mottled surface a subtle, iridescent sheen that shifts beautifully in the light.
