Kido-san hikes into the countryside of Kagoshima to dig the clay used to create these handcrafted plates. To honor the connection to the land, he stamps the latitude and longitude of the clay source on the back of each piece. The firing method lends a soft bluish hue to the off-white glaze and creates a natural scatter of speckles across the surface.

The large plate, approximately 10.7" in diameter, is ideal as a dinner plate.

The medium plate, approximately 8.25" in diameter, is perfect for salad or dessert.
